  • Morgan Middleby

    Instructor

Morgan is from Pittsburgh, PA, and has always had a passion for athletics and fitness. She started dancing at the age of three and became a professional by the time she was 18 in New York City. During that journey, Morgan had the opportunity to train with the legendary New York City Rockettes and spent time developing her modeling career. She lived out a childhood dream and was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine. At the age of 21, Morgan decided to chase her biggest dream, becoming an NFL Cheerleader: cheering for two seasons for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. After that experience had taken her to the NFL Hall of Fame and across the world to perform for the military, she and her fiancé, Chris, decided to settle down in Florida to be near family and friends. They both longed to live in the Sunshine State. Morgan has always lived an active lifestyle, enjoying weight-lifting, running, kickboxing, acrobatics and taking an assortment of fitness classes. She recently ran her first half marathon and is always looking for new challenges and setting new goals for herself, which led her to becoming a Club Pilates instructor. Over the years, Morgan has suffered numerous injuries that put her body under stress with high impact activity, so she decided to try something different. She took a Pilates class and fell in love. Pilates is a wonderful balance of strength and flexibility, two things that lead to a healthy and strong body. In a short time, Morgan began to notice the remarkable difference Pilates made in her everyday life. It has helped to rehabilitate her body and give her strength and energy that no workout ever could. It’s amazing what this low impact, enjoyable activity can do for all bodies at any age and Morgan is very excited to continue her career and spread her passion at Club Pilates.

  • Yvette Turner

    Instructor

Yvette is originally from North Carolina but has moved all over the South. Her passion for athletics and fitness started at a young age and has stayed with her throughout her life. As a former athlete, participating in competitive sports and activities, she remained active through various strength and cardio programs. Needing to develop core strength after an Achilles injury, she discovered Pilates and she was hooked! She began to visibly feel the incredible benefits of “The Pilates Method” in her everyday activities! What she loves the most is that Pilates is truly transformative and can be performed at any age without pain. Her love for Pilates quickly became a passion and instructing seemed like a natural progression. She completed her Pilates Certification with Pilates Academy International in 2014 and began teaching at Midtown Pilates in Starkville, MS. She later continued her Pilates Education with Club Pilates in San Antonio, TX in 2018. After hip and knee injuries, her orthopedic doctor recommended practicing yoga. It became a natural extension of interest complimenting her Pilates practice. She completed her Yoga Certification in 2016 with Om Grown Yoga School in College Station, TX. Yvette currently lives in Gainesville, FL with her husband, David. They have two daughters, Bianca and Alexyia. She is a dedicated enthusiast of Pilates, yoga, wellness and fitness teaching in studios and gyms in Mississippi and Texas before moving to Florida. She is excited to share her passion, knowledge, experience and the importance of ‘movement’ to help you live a fulfilled balanced life at any age!

  • Alicia Oberlin

    Instructor

Alicia has been in the fitness industry for over 37 years, being certified to teach everything from Aquatics to Yoga. During this time, she has also been a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM and just completed her certification through Club Pilates. Alicia is a Licensed Massage Therapist and has her own practice, where she uses all of her tools to help her clients. Her love for helping people learn how to make fitness a fun and healthy part of their everyday life is always at the forefront of her conversations. Alicia and her husband, Kevin, have five children. That’s right, five! Life is always interesting, that’s one way to look at it. Her kids range from 23 to 34 years old. Alicia and her husband are empty nesters, and are enjoying every minute of it. Her husband is a retired deputy from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office. During their “spare” time, they enjoy hobbies such as, you guessed it, working out, gardening, traveling and brushing their two cats. Alicia is excited to be joining the “Club Pilates” family, and can hardly wait to meet everyone. If you have a chance to take one of her classes, please take some time to talk to her. People will find that Alicia likes to talk. She also has a favorite number of the day. Usually, it’s a low number, today’s was four. Why? Because very few people want to hear her say, “20 more.” Alicia promises to take good care of everyone and, if at all possible, to push individuals a little further in their training. See you in class.
